We apply Physics, Chemistry and Engineering to:

1) Develop technologies for biology:
Visualizing spatiotemporal dynamics of cell signaling in vivo with a new class of fluorescent reporters for protease ($$$), kinase ($$$), GPCR, etc.
Identifying and characterizing protein-protein interactions ($$$, ended), including E3 ligase and substrates.
Manipulating proteins and cells in vivo.

2) Use these biological tools to investigate:
Animal development, including Drosophila, zebrafish and mice
Disease, including brain tumor (e.g. glioblastoma), pathogen-host interaction

Positions are available for highly motivated, independently thinking individuals.
