We apply Physics, Chemistry and Engineering to:
1) Develop technologies for biology:
Visualize spatiotemporal dynamics of cell signaling in vivo, including reporters of
), kinase, GPCR.
Identify and characterize protein-protein interactions (
), including E3 ligase and substrates.
Manipulate proteins and cells in vivo.
2) Use these biological tools to investigate:
Animal development, including Drosophila, zebrafish and mice
Disease, including brain tumor (e.g. glioblastoma), pathogen-host interaction
Positions are available for highly motivated, independently thinking individuals.
